Background/Interesting Fact
I have not been much of an observer since the early 1980s when too many other preoccupations captured my life, including the history of astronomy. Since 1984 I have considered my self more of an historian of amateur astronomy than an amateur astronomer. I went back to school in 1993 and qualified as a historian in an academic sense, and since then have enjoyed my retirement very much.
