Background/Interesting Fact
MIT math major, software engineer by trade. Worked on the Chandra X-ray Observatory project for 9 years. Volunteered at Maria Mitchell Observatory, ran public programs at Acadia National Park. Been interested in astronomy since I was a kid, and have built two telescopes. Currently head of the AAVSO photoelectric photometry section.
