Background/Interesting Fact
My first astro-photograph was of Comet Hale-Bopp in 1997 and 200 people bought reprints but I didn't solicit the business. In March of 2000 I was part of a team of 4 amateurs who imaged the optical after-glow of GRB000301C and got a free trip to the AAVSO High Energy conference in Huntsville, AL that year. Have been in love with the night sky ever since and built my own automated dome observatory in cloudy old western New York. I have been doing photometry on of Blazars and Polars and a few other interesting objects, Have recently been exploring the use of the itelescope network to increase my number of clear nights :-)
