Background/Interesting Fact
My grandfather gave me a subscription to Sky & Telescope in 1975. I was 13 and insufficiently patient to pursue the ambitious things that were described, like grinding your own telescope mirror. 40+ years later I am rediscovering the same interests — but still not patient enough to grind a mirror.
