Background/Interesting Fact
I live in Virum Denmark Europe.
I was a teacher in the Danish High school (16.-19 years old pupils) in Math, science and astronomy in 33 years, after I graduated from the Copenhagen University Observatory as astronomer.
After I retired in 2015 I took the title Anthroposophical astronomer, after making at talk at the great Hall of Goetheanum, south of Basel in Switzerland.
Here at home i Virum DK, I prefer to make great photometry with low cost instrumentation:
The mount is Starwatcher AZ-GTi mount and a Canon 200D camera with a f=100 mm lens f/2.8. ISO 200
My first observations was with the fine Goetheanum refractor fra AstroPhysics Starfire The apocromatic lens has an opening of 180mm (f=1620mm f/9). I used a cannon 550D for the first observations of R Crb when it was in its very dark state (August 2015).
My main interest is DSLR photometry, as a case study R- CrB.
I have used Cartes du Ciel and IRIS ver 5.49 because I wanted a mature program that did not evolve.
I surely got that.
Now I want to get on to more modern procedures.
