I just wanted to announce the publication of an article I wrote over a year ago for Astronomy magazine that was published in the June 2020 issue entiitled "Discovering Exoplanets From Your Backyard". See attached.

Do I approximate-focus with a V filter, then rotate the difuser in? Do you use an IR blocker?

Hi Ray,
The nice thing about the diffuser is that because of the way it works any focus position you set based on a filter will produce virtually the same diffused PSF when you rotate the diffuser into place and take an image.
