I'm Mike Boschat. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I work in the Atmospheric Science Department at Dalhousie University.
I have been studying astronomy for 57 years now ever since reading "Your Book of Astronomy" in 1960 by the late British author Sir Patrick Moore.
My main interests are: Solar, Lunar,, Aurora, looking for NLC ( Notilucent Clouds ), and Radio Meteors. I own the following telescopes: 8cm, f/10, 800mm focal length refractor,v,my older C8,f/10,2000mm focal length - which has a crack in the corrector but still produces great images,and an older Meade ETX-90 Astro telescope 90mm (3.5in),f/13.8,1250mm focal length.
