Magnitude of comp star to take into account

Hello,

i have a cmos colour camera and i do some photometry on variable stars. So my method is to extract green layer from images with AIP or Siril. Someone told me before that this kind of measurement is near a measurement with a TG filter so i upload my data with TG filter in the files. But which magnitude have i to use: the one given in VSP (for example if i choose the star 100, i use 10.0 as the comp magnitude or may i use the value of V magnitude given in VSP too or may i use the G magnitude given by simbad catalog? What is the good choice? By now, i use the G magnitude given by Simbad catalog for the comp and the check star.

Regards,

Hugues

G = Gaia

100 is the comparison star label, always use the value in the photometry table.

Do not use G magnitudes in SIMBAD, they are not "green", they are the Gaia G magnitude and it is similar to the Sloan r-band.
