deleting saturated photometry data

Hello,

Willing to identify saturated photometric data that I suspect are dispersed within some +1,700 photometries already uploaded to AAVSO, I would like to know which method would be the most effective and time-efficient way of doing it. After that is done, I want to delete the data from the AAVSO database.

I could reprocess the entire dataset using VPHOT, but I suspect there is a better way of doing it.

Whoever knows this little secret, please, share it with me.

Thanks!

Ari

Hi Ari!

 If you need to…

Hi Ari!

If you need to delete a large, easily identifiable batch of observations, I suggest you make contact with Sara Beck at HQ. She can take care of that without too much trouble. If the bad observations are widely dispersed, you can delete them or correct them using WebObs.
