Entering a "fainter than" observation in VPhot

I use VPhot for all my analysis.

Recently I began observing V0616 MON, which is below my observation limit (probably 2.5 mag below!). But There are several other variables in the FOV to report.

How can I use VPhot to analyze the other variables in the field and make a report while at the same time reporting that V0616 is fainter than whatever VPhot says my minimum is?? I think I can do it manually by modifying reports before I submit, but is there a more automated way of doing so??

Peter:

On single image photometry page, see the <* column at the end of each target row.

Ken,

I see that, but when I…

Ken,

I see that, but when I set up the sequence earlier VPhot failed to see the variable, so it is not on the target list. I guess a better way to ask my question is "if VPhot fails to see a target, how do I get it on the target list in order to report that it was below my magnitude shreshhold"?

Another Image

Peter:

Don't you have another image that clearly shows the target when brighter? Use it to create your sequence.

Then set minimum SNR to 1 and you should pick it up in more images?

PS: Otherwise you need to edit the report manually.
