Hello Everyone,
One of the most numerous requests we have received recently is for information on data mining and we have taken the first steps to giving you what you want. We have just added a list of data mining projects that you can do using VSX.

Just as with observing, there is quite a bit to learn about data mining. Some of these projects are easier than others, but you may need some help. We are working on getting more resources in the future, but for now we have created a new forum on data mining:
https://www.aavso.org/forums/data-mining
This along with the VSX forum should give you a place to ask questions of our community, many of whom are already well versed in the subject. If you would like to learn more, a good place to start will be the "How To Use VStar" choice course being offered in May followed by "Analyzing Data with VStar" choice course being offered in August. Thank you for being a part of the AAVSO community.
Thanks,
