Hi all
In this cycle Khi Cygni hasn't developed a hump in the ascending branch of the light curve. When was the last time showing this behavior?. I'm seeking in the database but i didn't found.... yet.
With some doubts, maybe in 1996?
Regards.

I think if you look at every cycle you will find some non-hump periods.
Hi Hubert
Then, it's possible that we are seeing the start of the hump in this cycle (the brightest ever!!) now around 5.8
Well... I have doubts about that.
We have to wait and observe
That's my motto!! Observe, observe and observe .... wait.... and observe again.

Khi Cyg is developing a peculiar light curve. Seems that now is showing something like a hump... near the maximum!! , as well as the absence of hump in the ascending branch of the light curve and the bright minimum in this cycle.
I agree with Alfredo, I observe this variable a lot during this cycle, tonight my best estimation was +5.2. Maybe and finaly the hump is on the way, wait and see

Thanks a lot!! Very useful links.

Anomalies in this cycle? : Bright minimum (around 12.5) the brightest hump ever (around 5.5) and flat maximum ( around 4.6 - 4.8 during more than 40 days)
