I think there might be a bug in SEQPLOT that someone should confirm to see if its just something with my system.

When I request a field by coordinates and then on the selction screen click on "Downloadable Table," the CSV file saved truncates the digits on the minutes for the RA at the ten's place.  So that the coordinates 1:33:44.5 + 30:40:56.3 become in the CSV file: 1,3,44.5,+30,40,56

It does the same thing when I select a star and click "Send to file."

I'm running JAVA version 8, update 77 on OS X 10.11.6.  And SEQPLOT version 4.0.

Seqplot Table Bug

Hi John:

Yes, I was able to reproduce your observation on my Win10 system. I did play around some more and found that a leading 0 for the RA hours was apparently needed to get the correct response. Try it with 01 instead of 1 for the RA hours?

I'll send an email to Sara.

Possible bug in Seqplot - fixed!

Hi John & Ken,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. There was definitely a parsing error in the code that caused it to treat single digit values within the parts of the RA and Dec incorrectly.

I changed my approach and think I have fixed it now. Please give it a try and let me know if you see any other problems. Remember that if you are using the Java Web Start version, Seqplot will update automagically next time you use it.

Thanks again,
Sara
