Remember that VPhot, and other AAVSO digital tools, are maintained by a small group, made up largely of volunteers. Consider also that VPhot went down in the middle of a weekend.
Let's be patient. I'd prefer to have them working on the problem rather than writing forum posts updating "what's going on", explanations that many of us probably would not understand in any case.

Unfortunately I find this every time there is a problem with VPhot.
The lack of info is frustrating and unhelpful.

Just checked and I'm still getting a service unavailable. Anyone seeing anything different?
Yes, this morning I get the usual HTTP Error 503. It was working (for me) yesterday after George fixed it.
