I just got an error trying to stack some images in VPHOT. It appears to be a server side problem, but that is just a guess. The full error is:
Unable to load DLL 'PhotLib.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)
The full web browser page with stack trace is contained in the attached PDF.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am not able to upload either .fit or zipped .fit files to VPHOT.
I tried the Quick Upload and Upload Wizard.
I was not able to upload a .fit file that I successfully uploaded yesterday.
I re-started my computer and also checked my internet access.
I have Adobe Shockwave Flash 29.0.0.171 loaded
Attached are some of the screen shots.
Thanks for help.
I am able to upload using the Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1.0 browser.
I am not able to upload using Firefox 60.0.1 64 bit browser today but I was able to sucessfully upload 10 files yesterday.
Same issue here. Uploads fail.
Not sure the issue here. Will reboot the server. Can't hurt!

George,
Thanks for taking a shot at this. Both before and after your 5/27 post I found the "Unable to load DLL" problem to be intermittent. I get the error trying to stack, wait a few hours and the stacking operation completes ok.

Cliff
My current theory is that this problem is a ASP.NET "double postback" issue.
One recommendation is to be very careful that you do not double click a button that commands VPhot to do a complex process. If your connection it is slow it is easy to get fooled into clicking again.
Solution to this is difficult. Any ASP mavens out there?
If anyone get's a chance to snapshot the webpage (Ctrl-U) one-click before the crash and send it to me, there might be evidence there of the issue.
Thanks for you patience,
George
George,
I can barely spell ASP, but here is what I think you asked for as far as snapsots.

Thanks Cliff,
Actually what I'm looking for is a dump of the webpage. You can do this with Ctrl-U and that opens up a new tab with the raw html of the page displayed. Getting a copy of that as txt: Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C and then paste into a text editor with Ctrl-V , save as a txt file and then send that to me.
Another thing that may help is to clear the browser cache. Go into settings, search for cache and hit the clear button. I understand that once you hit this problem you will continue to hit it if you retry. I think this is because the browser is opening a cached image which is broken
Thanks,
George
Dump of the error as I'm seeing it George.
My guess is it may be a permissions issue or the directory structure changed somehow.
I encounter this when I try to combine images (add them together from the image list screen).
Ok then,
Using Firefox 60.0.1 64-bit on Windoze 10 I did the following:
1) Clear cookie and web page cache
2) Logged in to Vphot and stacked a few images - worked fine
3) Stacked some more image - worked fine
4) Closed the browser and did some other things for an hour
5) Opened the browse, navigated to Vphot and stacked some image - BOOM. Attached file Capture 1A is from the stack control page, Capture 2A is from the error page.
6) Immediated cleared cookie and page cache, logged back in to Vphot and stacked a couple more images - BOOM. Attached files Capture 1B and 2B are the stack control and error pages from this.
Hope I got it right this time,
Cliff
