Can't subscribe to alert notice

Hello,

There are links on multiple pages of the website to "Subscibe to the Alert Notice".  However, when clicking on those links I receive a "Page not found" ("The requested page "/observation-notification" could not be found.").

Also, trying to find archive

Also, trying to find archive Alert Notices (such as Alert Notice 506) brings the "Page not found" error.

Alert Notice 506 link fixed, others okay

Hi Frank,

Alert Notice 506 had an incorrect page name structure (my fault). I have fixed it and you should now be able to access it. I checked the links for all the other Alert Notices and they appear to be okay, and every one I tested worked correctly. If there are other Alert Notices you were not able to access, please send me the numbers.

Alert Notice Subscription

Hi Ken & Frank,

Thanks for pointing out those problems. I think the subscription issue is mostly a case of us needing to update documentation.

To subscribe to the AAVSO Alert Notices, please login to the AAVSO website and click "My account" then the "Email Settings" tab near the top of the page. Check the box next to "Alert Notices" and don't forget to save your settings! 

Frank, the link appears to be broken for that particular Alert Notice. It is on the "Fix list".

Alert and Special Notices subscriptions

Hi Ken and Frank,

Following on Sara's reply about subscribing to (and unsubscribing from) the Alert Notices, in the Drupal upgrade of our website, the link to subscription information for Alert (and Special) Notices was broken. Also, the instructions that were at that page may have been outdated. When we can access the page again, we will make sure it is current. Right now, the Alert Notice Archives and Special Notice Archives pages have the correct instructions (they are as Sara gave them), as does this page that describes the Alert and Special Notices: https://www.aavso.org/alert-and-special-notices. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience!

Also, I posted separately about the Alert Notice 506 link - it has been fixed. All the other Alert Notice links appear to work correcly; if you find one that doesn't, please let me know. Thanks.
