2015 Sep 27.50UT, Visual 10.2 (0.41-m reflector 165x)

Comparison Stars used:

TYC 6854 827 = 10.6
TYC 6854 30  =  9.7

Nova is red in color.

I obtained a visual magitude of 9.7 this evening (Sept. 28 0375 UT) in bright moonlight utilizing nearby stars TYC6854 2819 (9.08) and TYC 6854 30 (9.68) .
