Hi All,
I have a bunch of images from two of the BSM telescopes in my VPhot image list that I want to download to my computer for local backup and analysis. I've done this many times in the past but for the last few days the download process has not worked. Anyone else experiencing this problem? The images open ok in VPhot. Cheers,
Mark
Hi Mark:
I just downloaded one of my images to confirm your observation or not. The image was downloaded and saved to my computer without a problem. I then opened the file on my computer successfully.
So, it doesn't say why you were unsuccessful but does indicate that it may be for some other unknown reason than general difficulty with VPhot.

Hi Ken,
80 images are recorded each night, I was trying to download all 80 in a single zip file. I've done this successfully many times before but last few days from both home and work it has not worked.
At home after selecting the 80 images and clicking "Download" the request seemed to be successfully sent to the VPhot server but after several minutes I'd get a "Network problem" error message (can't recall exact wording).
At work instead of getting the "Network problem" error message it would start downloading but the zip file is only a few KB in size (far too small to contain any images) and can't be opened.
I just checked and can confirm a single image could be downloaded so tried doing all 80 again. This time I got the attached error message. Now even attempting to download a single image causes this error.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you to diagnose and fix the problem. Cheers,
Mark
Hi Ken,
I just realised the error message wasn't attached to my previous post. Cheers,
Mark
