Background/Interesting Fact
I got interested in variable stars after learning about the Citizen Sky project on Epsilon Aurigae.
My main focus is DSLR photometry with my Canon ESO 1100D. I also own a portable 8" f/5 Newtonian reflector which I use most often with a ZWO ASI 178mm. I'm observing from central Germany and I am a member of an astronomy club associated to the public observatory "Volkssternwarte Paderborn". I'm working as a scientific software engineer for the Max-Planck-Institute for Gravitational Physics in Hannover, Germany
