The 2.225 hour period published in CBET 4906 cannot be correct because (1) the periodicity produces a DFT peak that is lower than many other DFT peaks in the original data, so the period claim was insignificant, (2) the periodicity does not appear in the TESS light curve with amplitude limits of 0.000098 mag. (2021RNAAS...5..150S), nor in contemporaneous AAVSO data, and (3) novae before the transition phase, including around the peak, cannot display any coherent periodicity because the opaque shell hides the inner binary.
The object shows a transition from a nova with some He/N spectral characteristics to a nova of the Fe II class, which is in the opposite sense of the transition observed in hybrid ("Fe IIb") novae (2020ATel14230....1B).
Apparently independent discovery by Stanislav Korotkij, Kirill Sokolovskij, and Ol'ga Smol'yankina (CBAT "Transient Object Followup Reports"). No brightenings were recorded by the ASAS-SN Sky Patrol between 2014 December 16 and 2020 November 25.
