Reddened Galactic classical Fe II nova (2020ATel14064....1A ). Last Palomar Gattini-IR non-detection on 2020 October 1.108 UT, first detection (Jmag. 11.5) on Oct. 2.110 UT (2020ATel14062....1D ).

First detected on 2020 October 2.980 UT (mag. 11.1 CR). No previous brightenings were recorded by the ASAS-SN Sky Patrol since 2015 February 16. Crowded field. Gaia DR2 4070608344910091776 (Gmag. 18.6) is 0.8" S of the improved position reported by BraTS (CBAT "Transient Object Followup Reports").
