1 Schaefer, Brad The preliminary 3.706 hour period (and the final 3.8036 hour period published in 2021JAVSO..49...95S) cannot be correct because (1) the periodicity does not appear in simultaneous AAVSO data with amplitude limits of 0.0058 mag., (2) the periodicity does not appear in the pre-eruption TESS light curve with amplitude limits of 0.0013 mag., and (3) novae before the transition phase, including around the peak, cannot display any coherent periodicity because the opaque shell hides the inner binary.
2 Schmeer, Patrick A rapid fading caused by dust formation started on 2020 December 7 (AAVSO data, 2020ATel14267....1M).
3 Schmeer, Patrick VSP Note: 17.7 Vmag. star 5" to the N.
4 Schmeer, Patrick Galactic classical Fe II nova (2020ATel13903....1S). Prior to the eruption that was first detected on 2020 July 27, no brightenings had been recorded by the ASAS-SN Sky Patrol since 2014 December 17.
