Imaging a "new" EA, V1039 Her. It is in VSX. (1) First attempts no WCS resolution for most images using quick upload. (2) Subsequent attempt, Upload Wizard indicated that all default data were present in the Fits header. Still many/most images with no WCS solution. (3) Update WCS, exit and reload VPhot: All images except 1 are "green" for WCS. However, when loading VSI for the target on most images the report is "no variables in image."
I know this is not correct as I can bring up the same FOV in other images and V1039 Her is identified correctly. The images ("no variable" and "correct identification") are FOV-identical. So I suspect that something is wrong with the WCS solution or something other than this is happening with VPhot.
Happy to share if anyone wants to peek at the images.

Hi Ed:
Please share an image(s) at MZK but also send me an image(s) via my profile contact link so I can try to upload.
Ken
PS: Oops, can't attach file to contact link. I sent you my email address offline.
I want to thank Ken for his help. For anyone reading this: the issue seemed to be something done to the fits file by the program I was using to calibrate the images. When I went back to the venerable AIP4WIN and recalibrated there were no issues with the upload. I am sticking to AIP4WIN. May be ancient but it does the trick.
