While we're all waiting for AA Tau to make an appearance (I did catch the Pleiades last night but thought AA Tau might be pushing it a bit!) may I suggest a look at V373 Cep? Otherwise known as LkHa 234, from the Lick Observatory catalogue, this varies around mag 12 to 13 but it is really for the 'prettiness factor' I'm mentioning it here. Even purely visually, this is a very nebulous area, and might prove attractive 'on camera'.

Incidentally, there's another interesting YSO (DN Tau) in the same field as AA Tau.
