I'm educated to degree level in the subjects of Astrophysics and Electrical Engineering and I pursue Astronomy as a hobby. My interests are variable stars (!) and CVs. I have a home observatory consisting of a C925 on a hypertuned CGEM with an Atik460 for photometry. I recently received a grant from the BAA to buy a Shelyak spectroscope and I'm currently taking spectra of everything that moves (and a few things that don't!). I also submit observations to the BAA, although the British weather only allows about three or four sessions per month!
