Hello All,
Dr. Noel Richardson is involved in a TESS project looking at the connections between pulsations and disk growth/loss in Be stars. Some recent data has suggested that the Be star Lam Pav is going into outburst and they are looking for spectroscopy of this star during the early stages of disk formation which is rarely seen. For this reason they are looking to obtain spectroscopy as soon as possible. This star is far south so only available to southern hemisphere observers.
They are requesting data for the Halpha line at an R~5000 or higher. Please post any questions you might have to this thread as Dr. Richardson will be monitoring. Thank you all for taking the time to look at this and we wish you clear skies.
