Hi, I am trying to upload some FITS images (56MB) using the upload wizard and am finding that they seem to stall half way through. My impression is that they might be timing out. weirdly the upload doesn't stall if I use the quick upload section. I haven't used these  files before and so wanted to use the wizard to check them out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get around this?

Thanks

Very Large Images

Mark:

In another post we identified a time out issue with 12 MB images. We increased the time out interval to 30 minutes from 5 minutes. That worked for 12 MB images.

56 MB images are obviously MUCH bigger!!  ;-(

Is there anything you can do to reduce your images? Bin, save as 16 bit rather than 32 bit images, crop center.

Is this a DSLR image or new CMOS image?

Very large images

Thanks Ken, sorry about the delay in replying. These are monochrome FITS images from the Las Cumbres Telescope network. I should be able to crop them down a bit, I can bin images but am unclear what this would do to the integrity of the data?

It's helpful to know that this is regarded as a large file.

Many thanks,

Mark
