Search for variable stars in this field via VSX no longer works

When you create a photometry map via VSP, there is the option to Search for variable stars in this field via VSX.

This no longer works: For example, if you use the following chart

https://apps.aavso.org/vsp/photometry/?star=R+Aql&orientation=ccd&type=photometry&fov=30.0&maglimit=16.0&resolution=150&north=up&east=left&lines=True&B=on&Rc=on 

and then click on the link  "Search for variable stars in this field" (below the star table) you will receive an error message. A month ago this still worked.
