I should have posted this earlier...too many distractions.

Anyway, there were a few ATELs that are relevant for the High Energy Astronomy community:

BL Lac is peaking in the optical and showing activity in high energy EM:

I don't want to start a discussion about what is the right observing section for the recurrent nova RS Oph, I'll just note that it is emitting gamma- and X-rays, so there you have it ... let's observe it :-) . It's also a nice bright target for learning to do spectroscopy.
