I hope this question isn't too out of place. Apologies if so. I'm looking to stock my filter wheel with Baader g/r/i and B/V filters (50.4mm unmounted), however the only place that appears to sell these individually is Baader's themselves in Germany. The issue is that they will not sell and ship to any country where they have a local dealer, so that would include the US. The problem with this is that the US Baader dealers sell them only the full sets, so half or more of the filters in each set are operationally irrelevant and is wasted money. Has anyone managed to do this before? Do I need to resort to special-ordering them through a dealer? I do note that some US vendors who sell Baader filters (eg; Agena) aren't listed as dealers on Baader's website.

Alpine Astro sells Baader photometric filters individually and as sets.

Agena Astro, Far Point Astro (I think), and Woodland Hills telescope and camera. Maybe more. Shop around; I think some US companies will sell individual filters.
Before ordering from anyone, I'd ask if the filter(s) you want are "in stock". Don't believe "more coming soon" or "more on the way". Some companies will charge your credit card then leave you hanging for month's, even years!. Sometimes everyone is out of stock , and they want you to pay up front to get on a wait list.
Some distributors require a minimum order from the retailer. The retailer takes your order then holds on to it until he/she has enough retail orders to make an order to the distributor.
Woodland Hills promises they will not charge your card until the filters have been shipped, and this has been my experience with them.

I got lucky. I called Alpine Astro and they had every individual filter that I wanted in stock. They had a small stock.
