Whitney Armentor joined the AAVSO in July 2024. For more than fifteen years, she has worked in nonprofit fundraising, specializing in impactful fundraising plans, mission- and donor-centered marketing, event planning, and donor relations. She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana and has served on the board of her local Association of Fundraising Professionals chapter in New Orleans.
Her past work includes raising funds internationally for meaningful feline health research at EveryCat Health Foundation and helping increase awareness and programs for foster children at Raintree Children and Family Services in New Orleans. With a specialty in building fundraising programs, she is excited for her love of astronomy and professional skills to come together under clear skies.
