Greetings,
Please note that there is a faint companion star about 5 arc seconds to the north of this nova. Best seen in R (~17.1) and I (~15.3) filters but also in V. The companion doesn't appear on the VSP G-scale normal chart but does appear on the Digital Sky Survey (DSS) image. It may be inside your aperture now that this nova has faded significantly recently.
