We have SA200 diffraction gratings on one system now, and probably on another in a month or so. There is also an eShel spectrograph on OC61, that can be used in a "shared risk" mode - it has not been used for real science yet.
Gary Walker is working on a robotic spectroscopic system that will be part of AAVSOnet, most likely mid- to late-2021.
I don't know of any automated, queue-scheduled, spectroscopic system (other than the SA200's) available to the community right now. We're working in that direction!
Do you know if it's possible to use it to observe the weak MgII 4481A line in HD 46089? and the Fe 4383? Me and some collaborators are trying to confirm it as a Lambda Bootis star. If possible, i'd like to try the eShel's data.
HD 46089 is a 5th magnitude star at 6:31 +11. As such, it is doable at OC61 but pretty far north for this -44 degree latitude site. The lines should be observable at this resolution.
Let me check with the observatory superintendent to see the status of the equipment, and I'll get back to you. We may have to wait until after the holidays to try anything!
