Object AT 2020vce is a possible nova eruption. ASAS-SN lightcurve shows it's brightening. Urgent spectra and photometry is needed. The object is in VSX as NGCA-V49.
Yes I just ran out of cloud free night last night. I've scheduled B,V,R,I at a high priority so they will run on the next clear night. I will monitor each clear night for the next while and see how it's changing.
Have got a few images last night remotely from Chile. Data are with the AAVSO. Airmass is from about 2 to 2.6. Will continue observing this transient the upcoming clear nights.
I managed to get one set images last night in BVRI. It's pretty low in the west at astronomical dusk so it is a challange. It's ~17Vmag now. Even with double the exposure in B (600s) I couldn't get enough S/N to get a B value. I'll try and get some longer exposures over the next few days but it's a tricky one.

Probably just a dwarf nova ourburst, but we"ll see...
16.08 Vmag 2020-10-09.4668 - It's in my observatory scheduler now so if the weather plays ball I can keep submitting measurements.
Can you do multicolor photometry? Using B, R or I filters too? Or time series?
I tried to observe it with iTelescope.net facilities from Siding Spring, AU, but it was not visible from the obseervatory :(

This time the difference in position is ~0.86" and ~0.82"
