VPhot Version 4.0.12

VPhot users may have noticed that V4.0.12 is now active. 😊

VPhot team programmers have recently added some functionality to improve workflow in a couple of key areas:

1. Geoff Stone has enhanced the upload process to remove most of the potential failures that resulted from poor upload connections or inadvertent attempts to submit non-fits images. In the case of intermittent internet connections, failed images make repeated tries to upload until they get to the queue. In cases where non-fits files may be inadvertently dropped into the dropzone, a final error message is provided with an explanation to ignore them. We hope this will reduce the difficulty that may have occurred as a result of having trouble identifying and finding, on your computer, those images that remained unsubmitted.
2. George Silvis has enhanced the efficiency of collecting Instrumental Magnitude data for standard fields for use in TransformGenerator (TG). Previously, one needed to generate/download separate files for each filter, save them to your local computer, and subsequently load them into TG. With this new added functionality, it is possible to process all filter images of the standard M67 (other fields will be added in the future) field in a single Time Series.
