V392 Per is in outburst since Feb 28. And according ASAS data it is still brightening, http://cv.asassn.astronomy.ohio-state.edu/outburst?id=6381
What kind of object is it?

Hi Eddy,
This is not the first anomalous outburst of this star. In 2013 it went into outburst March 1, reached a maximum of 14.0 on March 24 and was still as bright as 14.6 April 16 when we finally lost it to the Sun. I don't know of any other CV that has prolonged rises to maximum and outbursts that last 6 weeks or more. Perhaps drawing attention to the second known instance of this kind of behavior will finally encourage further investigation, like time series observations to see if it has superhumps.

The strange prolonged outburst of V392 Per continues. I just submitted data from Sierra Stars 0.61m telescope this morning.

Hi Mike
I have just been reading the comments on this object, very curious. Its a pity I could not looked at it earlier, unfortunately my weather is not good for at least a week and I am on the verge of loosing per till the fall. I think a concentrated run on this object would be useful say over two seasons. I will have a look when there`s an opportunity
