About the VSX catalog. Good afternoon, dear friends.
I am new to the AAVSO community and I am starting a course completion survey (undergraduate in Physics) about new variables.
I am using a part of the VSX catalog, in which there are some suspicions of variability that can be observed in the southern hemisphere (In Brazil, more specifically).
I would like to know from you, is differential photometry a good choice to determine some variations of suspicious stars?
