If I see a value of 3.0 under the column Observing Cadence (d), I'm led to believe that means the minimum observation frequency is once every three days. If that's indeed the case I'm having trouble resolving how this cadence was determined (seems I can't upload a screenshot) for the target EV Lac in Alert 789 which states:
The typical flare signature is a rapid rise and gradual decay in brightness, with the “rise” phase lasting between zero and a few minutes, and the decay phase lasting from a several minutes to an hour.
Where I'd assume a cadence along the lines of once a minute rather than once every three days.
