Today I was looking thru the VSP standard fields that I most often use, SA110, M-67, NGC-7790, etc. and found that none have Sloan magnitudes listed.
It might be something for HQ to consider to do the work to get Sloan standard magnitudes and add them to the photometry tables for at least the fields mentioned above.
It might facilitate everyone transforming their observed magnitudes when reporting. Also some observers apparently have mixed SLOAN and Johnson-Cousins filters and could transform those mixed filter systems.
Please everyone do the work to transform your magnitudes. There are plenty of resources on the AAVSO web site on how to do it--the observing manuals. You can also ask questions on the forum.
