RW Aur has entered a deep fade, I measured it at 12.483V as of JD2456954.46019

Confirming the deep phase of RW  AUR, my last night extimation (JD=2456955,40875) is 12.40 (+-0.06) mag, unfiltered DSLR with V zero point.

Indeed, this seems to be one of RW Aur's deeper fadings and about equal to that I remember observing late in 2010. I do note that last evening the star appeared to be a couple of tenths brighter than it had been in the course of the past week, or two, so perhaps this dip will prove to be a brief one. I'll certainly be keeping a close eye on this object's activity in coming months as it is a star that I've been following seasonally ever since the late 1960's. That dip has returned John, RW has faded again,  12.915V as of JD2456983.37274;
