I was looking for Blazhko effect in RR GEM. I have downloaded all obsevations from our international database. I took maxima from each full light curve. unfortunately the Maxima JD is not matching with JD given by Gerard Samolyk in JAAVSO. Differance is varing from 1 minute to 10 minutes. Looks like I am doing some thing wrong. Kindly guide me to get exact maxima timings.

(For example 2457087.3830 mag 10.635 is given in paper, but I am getting  2457087.377 mag 10.614)

one to ten minutes sounds about right.  You need to convert JD into HJD (heliocentric JD), which is time referenced to the Sun instead of the Earth.  The light travel time across the Earth's orbit causes those minute-scale variations.

Thanks for prompt reply sir. The information is very usuful, made difference smaller. But still not matching exactly. (checking upto 3 digits only). I am getting magnitude difference, which may affect amplitude variation hence Blazkho effect

I used this site for conversion  https://doncarona.tamu.edu/apps/jd/
