Already have the 2017 CAP?? - Earn a pin to add to it for 2018
Just a reminder that the Citizen Astronomer Promoter (CAP) program that began during the 2017 Annual Campaign continues during the 2018 Annual Campaign. Your gift of $250 or more identifies you as a special supporter of the AAVSO and you will receive the white baseball CAP from HQ in September.
If you have already made a gift under $250.00 to the 2018 campaign but would now like to qualify for the 2018 CAP program you can always donate again over the next 5 weeks. We track all the donations and can update your record each time you give more.
Members who earned a cap during the 2017 Annual Campaign and give $250 or more to the 2018 Annual Campaign will receive one of the following pins to attach to their cap.
- “Stellar-level” Citizen Astronomer Promoter ($250 – $2499)
- “Galactic-level” Citizen Astronomer Promoter ($2500 or more).
So please – Be the Legacy-make your gift(s) of $250 or more to the AAVSO 2018 Annual Campaign before July 31st.
