Query about AAVSO guide to CCD/CMOS photometry

I am a fairly senior beginner trying to work my way through the guide and have hit a problem.

Specifically, on page 125 it states, "Using the Variable Star Plotter on the AAVSO website, fetch a chart and overlay the field of view, as seen in Figure F-1."

I have accessed the VS plotter but I'm not clear what I am supposed to overlay on what.

Also I cannot find Figure F-1 it refers to.

 

In general I am struggling to take in the vast amount of content and jargon. Is there a beginners summary?

I guess I'm trying to prioritise and order some kind of work flow diagram for the process.

Yes it looks like Figure F-1…

Yes it looks like Figure F-1 doesn't exist which should probably be fixed.  As far as overlaying the FOV, I'm guessing they just meant in the VSP to enter a Field of View similar to what was calculated in the example, so something like 25' would be sufficient (since you can only define a square FOV in VSP, and the example FOV is 22'x15').
