Nigel Frost wants to redo the secondary mirror support, to reduce the torque required to move the mirror for focusing. It was near the limit of the stepper motor, and we've burned out a couple of robofocus controllers because of this.
At the same time, he is redoing the camera mounting plate. Currently, the attached FLI focuser tilts every so often and causes images to be comatic across the field. The new solution will be much more stable.
I'll post when OC61 is back up and running.
