Hi All

It's certainly a busy time for novae. Last night I was able to visually observe 15 of them. This ranges from the old nova CP Pup, V1369 Cen which is still visible since its outburst in 2013 and right up to the latest discovery in Sgr.

For the older novae, I do wonder if there is professional interest in monitoring these long term. Or is the science obtained in the first few weeks after discovery?

Regards

Andrew
