Hello,
I'm starting to learn image analysis, I searched online for some dataset of images to use while learning but I found none.
Is any of you aware of some dataset publicly available?
TIA & best wishes
What type of images do you need? I have many time-series tri-color FITS files for flare stars and eclipsing binaries. I could make some available on Google Drive.
Hi Gary,
I'm working on a VPhot feature that will automatically separate tri-color fits files when uploaded.
I need more examples to experiment with.
Can you share some files via your gdrive?
Thx
George
Hi George,
Yes, I can make some tri-color files available via Google Drive. Rough how many images do you need? For example, I have some tri-color files for B Per. A full evening's run is about 12GB of data.
I'll let you know when they are available.
Best regards,
Gary
Hi Gary
I only need a couple to make sure I understand the file structure. 12Gb would be to much!
Send a note to gsilvis@aavso.org
Thx
George

Hi Gary,
thanks for the offer, I just started so I need just some images to get acquainted with the software, ideally a series of images that I can use to build a light curve will fit the bill
thanks again
Gian
I've shared to your VPhot account images of NO Aur
I also shared a sequence that would be useful.
You are welcome to submit the final data if you wish; just advise me.
Cheers,
George
