Hello,
During these days, Betelgeuse is close to the sun. Nevertheless it can be observed using a go-to telescope with a CCD or CMOS camera and a combination of a V filter and a neutral density (ND) filter. The method was described in the JAAVSO Journal of Dec 2021 (https://app.aavso.org/jaavso/article/3798/)
I am trying to do again photometric measurements on Betelgeuse in the daytime this year, but that depends mainly on the weather, which is very cloudy in the moment at my observatory in Germany. Therefore it would be nice, if additional observers could contribute some measurements. I have prepared a short paper for this purpose, which can be downloaded from my webpage:

Clear skies!
