Is the mentorship program still active? I sent an email following the instructions at https://www.aavso.org/mentor-program but I haven't received a response.
Yes, the program is active.
You'll be contacted soon and we'll be searching for a mentor to help you.
Please be patient.
Personally, I coordinate the program from Argentina, and due to a strong heat wave, we have been having power outages and my internet connection has been coming and going and this has caused some delays in all my duties :(
I need to be more involved since answering 2-3 inquiries. Now that retirement is looming, I will have alot of free time to make videos of my photometric processes as well as my spectroscopy....hope to nail down my new eShel before then as well!
