The VSX about page does a good job describing the conventions used in the type.  However, do not see the use of the colon defined.  As in the difference between ACEP and ACEP:.

Thanks,Cliff

Colon meaning

Hi Cliff,

a colon after the variability type -or any other field- means the value/classification is uncertain.
In your example "ACEP:" means the object hasn't been confirmed as an anomalous cepheid.

We will add this to the document ASAP.

Cheers,
Sebastian
