This is a reminder that the deadline for submitting abstracts for poster
or oral presentations (and paper in proceedings) for the 2014 joint
meeting of the Society for Astronomical Sciences, AAVSO, and Center for
Backyard Astrophysics is less than a week away.
Abstracts must be submitted by 00:00 March 16 UT. Submission is via the
on-line submission form found at
http://www.socastrosci.org/PHP/SASAbstractSubmission.php
There are still lots of openings even with the abstracts submitted so far.
However, there is usually a last minute blizzard of submissions.
All those attending, including eventual presenters, need to register.

Thanks for the heads-up! I've registared for the Ontario meeting but still need to put together an abstract for a poster. Had a great time with SAS at you Big Bear meeting in 2005! I've participated for poster presentations at the AAS in Atlanta in 2001 as well.
